I started
designing and making hand bags a few years ago at the
suggestion of a friend who commissioned a bag to go with her
hat for Henley regatta and Wimbledon. It was when friends of
friends started to ask if I could make pieces for them that
the occasional commissions became more frequent.
Currently I make handbags
for adults and duffle bags for children. The ladies bags come
in three different sizes, small, medium and large. I use various
fabrics from faux suede and linen to silks and tweeds. I use
different decoration techniques such as beading and sequins
to embroidery and a wide range of trimmings including ribbons,
beads and feathers.
You can buy bags from the existing
stock and ranges or you can use the bespoke commission service.
Price’s for the ladies bags start from £22 for
a small bag and £35 for the medium and £40 for large bags. Children’s
duffle bags are £22. Bespoke commission prices on application.
